Our time in Mykonos!

It’s been a long, long time since I’ve written on here!

New Orleans

I am about to celebrate my second year as a Florida Realtor and one year with Keller Williams Realty Port St. Lucie.  You may remember I initially joined Keller Williams Realty Treasure Coast out of Stuart.  I moved to Port St. Lucie when I celebrated my first anniversary coinciding with the opening of the new Keller Williams Realty Port St. Lucie.  The move made sense since I have lived in Port St. Lucie for over 10 years.  In reality, it is also more practical since the Stuart office is a good 45 minute drive from home and the Port St. Lucie one is a mere 10 minute drive making much more convenient when meeting clients.

On the travel front, I have been on several cruises, visited family in the New York New Jersey area and returned to Europe.  Along the way were a couple of firsts!  My first (and second) Disney Cruise!  An inaugural and my first Princess Cruise where I got to meet and enjoy the company of the cast from “The Love Boat”! The first time to Italy and Greece with my hubby and youngest son. The first time I got to experience the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and the first time we had an almost disaster on a trip.  I’ll have to write a couple of posts on these trips.

As for running, I hung up my sneakers after my thirteenth half marathon, the Miami Half Marathon held January 2014.  I really enjoyed running for a time.  I used to get such a thrill from the anticipation of a race, knowing full well I would never ‘win’.  To me, finishing was a ‘win’.  Training however, became a chore.  When I started down the path, it seemed I gained more and more people to train with as time went on.  It was so much fun to have this ‘club’ of sorts.  However, in time, people I considered friends let me down and caused conflict with each other and eventually me.  Soon, training was a very lonely experience even when doing it with others.  Starting lines at races were no longer fun and so it was time to let it all become a memory.

The family has continued to grow!  My youngest sister got married and has given me an adorable nephew and my brother has also added a handsome little boy to his family.  I have been lucky enough to spend time with my favorite cousin both on his visits to us in Florida and our trip up to New Jersey where I also got to spend quality time with one of my other sisters.

In all, I’ve been busy!  No excuse.  I know.  I hope to contribute more consistently in the weeks and months ahead!

Tell me what you think!
